For a generation of Americans the 1920s were exemplified by two new writers, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway. We’ll read their early work, examining their short stories and the definitive novels in which each established himself as a writer: Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby and Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises.
