Dickinson as an eco poet: examining how Dickinson conceived of the environment will reveal aspects of her education and world view that show her at the heart of the ecological revolution in the 19th century as American wilderness was being systematically destroyed. Read her in the context of Whitman, Thoreau, and Muir.
