The fire at Notre Dame in Paris has sparked a renewed interest in European cathedrals. This course will examine the expression of the sacred through architectural space, style and symbolism, in seven of Europe’s greatest buildings., in Paris, London, Rome, Florence, Cordoba and Istanbul.
